2018 Garden - Topsfield, MA - No Till - Nutrient Cycling Garden

Method: Late winter the beds were seeded with Rye while snow was still on the beds.  The Rye grew to about 2.5 feet tall.  A few weeks before vegetables being transplanted, the cover crop was dusted with 4 pounds of rock dust per bed and covered under 5" of leaf mold.  When I was ready to transplant or seed, the mulch gets pushed aside for the planting and slowly slid back over the plant once established.

In these two raised beds 4 varieties of tomatoes, Red Onion, Beets, Carrots, Pole Beans, 3 varieties of peppers and 4 very large eggplant.
